Bands to 1st floor and below parapet. 5-gabled attic dormers. Interior to No 6 (Wine Vaults Public House): narrow linear plan, with street entrance giving access to internal lobby with vertically boarded, half-glazed doors, glazed overlights and panelled partitions. Public House interior with bar counters set parallel to west side wall, serving a main bar, 2 smaller snug bars and a rear smoke room all linked by a bar passage. Main bar and 2 snug bars have fixed bench seating set against dividing partitions. Passage east side wall has bench seating set against vertical boarded front. Back bar with plain boarding and fixed shelving. South snug entered through half-glazed door. Snug bar with mirror-backed shelving. Angled partition screen creates servery to rear smoke room which has fixed bench seating. A distinctive public house interior, with modest but significant fittings and furnishings demonstrating the requirement for separate bar functions on a restricted site, now an increasingly rare survival.
