BANBURY OLD PARR ROAD SP4539NW (North side) 11/140 No.50 (The Gables Nursing 07/10/69 Home) (Formerly listed as The Gables) GV II

House, now nursing home. c.1840. Brick faced with lined stucco, hipped slate roof, rendered brick ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. Central pedimented doorway has panelled door now part-glazed, panelled reveals and overlight. Entrance is flanked by sashes with glazing bars. First floor has 3 sashes with glazing bars and moulded stone surrounds. Cornices on consoles. Twin gabled full dormers with sashes. Wide eaves soffit. Moulded eaves cornice. Interior not inspected.
