2. Late C18/early C19 facade, painted brick with parapet, Parapet has 3 brick bands. Roof not visible. 2 storeys, 4 windows including 1 blank, sashes with glazing bars. C19 altered shop front extends along entire ground floor. Cornice and entablature with architrave and pilasters. Panelling below shop windows. Glazing and door now altered. 2 large cast iron pillars remain centrally, in front of shop windows.
Nos 44 to 52 (even) and Nos 60 to 64 (even) form a group with Nos 45, 45A and 47 and Nos 53 to 81 (odd) opposite and with No 2 New Street.
