RADCLIFFE SQUARE 1. 1485 The Schools Statue of the Earl of Pembroke in the Bodleian courtyard SP 5106 SE 9/810 II GV 2. Date of erection 1723. Bronze standing figure after Rubens, on a marble pedestal with an inscription. The statue is probably C17.
All the buildings in Radcliffe Square form a group of the highest importance being the centre of the University of Oxford.
