BROAD STREET 1. 1485 (North Side) Nos 50 & 51 SP 5106 SW 8/142 12.1.54. II GV 2. RCHM 194. Early C18 timber-framed stuccoed front with rusticated quoins and having a Welsh slate hipped roof in which are 2 pedimented attic dormers. There is a repaired cornice. The upper floors overhang. In the 1st floor are 4 sash windows in moulded wood frames having moulded cornices. In the 2nd floor are 4 sash windows. All the windows have shutters and glazing bars and the structure was apparently once 2 houses. Interior:- RCHM page 180a. Includes 2 original staircases. (See Antiq. Jnl. 27 (1947), Fig. 8 for plan and section).

Nos 48 to 53 (consec) form a group with Trinity and Balliol Colleges.
