SP 6100 LITTLE MILTON CHURCH HILL (East side) 13/74 Lodge, southern of pair approx 18/07/63 120 metres west of Manor House (Formerly listed as Lodges at entrance to Manor) GV II

Gate lodge. Early C19. Plastered light timber frame; thatched hipped roof with brick ridge stack. Gothick cottage ornee of 2-unit plan at right-angles to road. One-storey symmetrical front with plank door flanked by single- light diamond-leaded windows, all openings with pointed arched heads. one- storey C20 extension to right, partly masked by high garden wall. Interior not inspected. One of an identical pair (q.v.) flanking the west entrance to the Manor House (q.v.) grounds. (Buildings of England, Oxfordshire, p.687)
