SP 6100 LITTLE MILTON GORE STREET (East side) 13/80 Hill View House
GV II
House. C15/16, altered C17 and early C19. Rendered timber-framing and limestone rubble kith some brick dressings; old plain-tile roof and brick ridge-stacks. 5-bay hall house altered to 4-unit lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys. Irregular early C19 five-window front of 2 and 3-light casements, some under brick segmental arches, and garage doors to far right bay. C20 porch in line with central stack and second stack above additional chimney bay to far left. Brick quoins to right gable wall. Rear wall has 2 bays of timber-framing at first floor in large panels with curved braces, now rendered over. Interior: Massive C17 inserted stack with flanking stair. Bay to right has heavy joists, possibly C16. 6-bay roof with arched braces to tie beams, curved wind-braces and a double chamfered arched collar truss over the former 2-bay hail. l. (V.C.H.
