Hotel. Early C18. Render, probably on brick, to plinth; grey brick with red brick dressings; roof and chimney stacks not visible. 3-storey, 5-window range. 2:1:2, with 3-storey, 2-window range to left. 8-panel door to centre with segmental-headed architrave surround and rubbed brick Ionic pilasters, having painted capitals, supporting cornice with pulvinated frieze. Segmental-headed 18-pane unhorned sashes to ground floor with painted wood architrave surround and rubbed-brick segmental heads. Brick cornice between ground and first floor. Segmental-headed 12-pane unhorned sashes to first and second floors with painted wood architrave surrounds and segmental brick heads. Brick cornice between first and second floors, and to base of panelled parapet. Range to left: panelled carriageway doors to segmental headed carriageway arch. Brick cornice between' ground and first floors. 12-pane unhorned sashes to first and second floors with painted wood architrave surround and segmental brick heads. Brick cornice between first and second floors, and to base of panelled parapet. Interior: dog-leg staircase to rear centre with baluster balustrade. Fielded wood panelling to ground floor right.
