- II
House. Late Cl8/early C17, extended C17/early C18 and C20. Timber framing with brick infill and coursed limestone rubble with timber lintels and ashlar quoins; old plain-tile roofs with stone and brick stacks. 2-unit plan extended to L-plan and infilled. 2 storeys plus attic and one storey plus attic. Present front has gable end of early timber-framed range to left with irregular casement fenestration;remainder of front is C20. Stone and brick outshut to extreme left. Early range has a half-hipped roof with 2 tiny 2-light dormers facing left and a tall brick ridge stack; rear gable wall has much old brick infill. Taller 2-window rubble range, behind front range has casements and 2 hipped roof dormers. Right gable wall has a large stone chimney projection and a chamfered stone base to the stack. Interior not inspected.
