Farmhouse, now house. 1754 on datestone, extended mid C19. Coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings; polychrome brick; old plain-tile roofs with brick stacks. 2-unit plan extended to rear. 2 storeys plus attic. 4-window front, with plinth and stone eaves cove, has regular bands of larger stones. Entrance to right of centre has a 4-panel door and a small canopy above a renewed lintel; opening to left of centre also has a renewed lintel and has been a doorway; outer casements have segmental stone arches. At first floor are 2-light casements. Most openings retain roll-moulded arrises and there is a central datestone inscribed "N.B./1754". Roof has flanking stacks and two 2-light roof dormers with C19 ornamental bargeboards. Left gable wall has a bread-oven projection. C19 rear range is in buff brick with polychrome decoration. Interior not inspected. (V.C.H.: Oxfordshire, Vol.V, p.31).
