Details
SUNNINGWELL SP4900 17/147 Sunningwell House GV II Farmhouse, now house. Early C18, remodelled mid C19. Front: right bay of C19 Flemish bond brick with some flared headers: bays to left of flared header bond brick with orange brick dressings: left side and rear of limestone rubble with brick quoins and dressings and stone quoins to right. Gabled old tile roof; brick right end stack and rear lateral stack. L-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Segmental arch over C20 door to right of blocked door and C19 inserted window openings with C20 windows: 3 mid/late C19 cross windows on first floor. Raised storey band and dentilled eaves; two C19 roof dormers. Later C18 rear left wing of limestone rubble with brick dressings: has reset medieval head corbel. Interior: segmental brick arch over open fireplace to right. Chamfered beams. First floor not inspected. Included for group value.
