ASHBURY KINGSTONE WINSLOW SU28NE 5/36 Lower Mill. Old Mill, 2 metres 10/11/52 south west of house (Formerly listed as Kingston Lower Mill,Millers House and adjacent GV II cottage)

Mill. Late C18, incorporating wall of earlier mill. Brick, Flemish bond; earlier uncoursed and squared chalk in gable wall to left and in foundations; old tile roof. L-plan, with additional store at right angles to brick stack to rear granary. 2 storeys. Irregular 4-window range. Segmental arches over plank door and casements. Gabled roof, brick end stack. Remains of overshot wheel against gable end, and interior has all beams, floorboards and machinery surviving. 2-bay, 2-storey rear wing has leaded casements and segmental arch with limestone key block over double doors (1/2 blocked). Small one storey store, chalk and sarsen uncoursed rubble with old tile roof, against north wall.
