GV II
Vicarage, now house. Mid/late C17, extended c.1805 C17 building in squared and coursed chalk; early C19 extension in rendered chalk block with brick dressings; slate roof; roughcast stacks. Complex plan. 3-storey C17 building, 2- storey C19 building 3-window range to early C19 extension: has central 6-panelled doors with scrolled pediment and Doric partico built by Sir William Cash in 1936; rubbed brick arches over sashes; brick double pilaster strips to quoins: Modillioned eaves & verge: hipped roof; ridge stacks. 2-storey, 3-bay service wing to right substantially rebuilt c.1974, in Flemish bond brick, with C20 sashes; C17 building has flat chalk arches of voussoirs over original leaded lights with all fittings. Interior not inspected but noted as having shutters and doors, moulded cornices and fireplaces.
