GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, refronted c.1800; early C17 wing to right. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and roll-moulded quoins; gabled concrete tile roof; symmetrical end stacks, of limestone ashlar finished in late C19 brick. Central-staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic; symmetrical 5-window range. Bracketed flat stone hood over early C19 six-panelled door set in beaded stone architrave. 6-pane sashes set in plain ashlar surrounds. Ashlar storey band and cyma-moulded cornice; 2 gabled roof dormers. 6-pane sashes to rear, and outshut to rear right. Early C17 wing to right, re-roofed in early C19; 2-storey, 4-window range to right side with 3-light chamfered and ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows; plank door in central mid C19 outshut; similar mullioned windows to rear, and early C19 sash to front; stone slate roof, hipped c.1800, interior: front range has remodelled dog-leg stairs; room to right has ovolo- and cyma-moulded beam and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer; 3-bay butt-purlin roof. Range to right has deeply-chamfered beams; roof not inspected. Stone-flag floors throughout.
