2. Including No 1 Surrey Street. Early C19 (2 houses). Flint cobbles, with rendered brick dressings. Hipped roof with black-glazed pantiles. Paired brackets to overhanging eaves. 2 storeys and attic. 2nd floor 2 sashes with glazing bars. 1st floor one sash with glazing bars and 2 splayed bays of sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor right hand sash with glazing bars and wide splayed bay of sashes also with glazing bars. Left hand doorcase with fluted pilasters and Doric entablature with cornice, moulded panelled door and rectangular fanlight with 4-centred arch headed lights. One flat-roofed dormer with sash.
Nos 18, 20 and 22 Cromer Baptist Church and Nos 26 and 28 Church Street together with Nos 1 to 7 consec The Gangway including No 1 Surrey Street form a group.
