- II
House. 1815. Amateur architect Rev. William Gunn. Gault brick, slate roof. 2 ranges of 2 storeys. Main range of 5 bays, central bay slightly recessed with porch of fluted Doric columns supporting frieze with metopes and triglyphs, plain cornice; double door, top half glazed, hinged shutter behind lower panel; light over; sash windows with glazing bars under flat arches of rubbed and gauged brick, stone sills; wooden dentil eaves cornice; double hipped roof with 2 stacks in the gully. Lower 2 storey range to left hand also with sash windows with glazing bars; 2 axial stacks.
