House C16 or early C17, of 2 builds. Flint walls with brick dressings and red
pantiled roof. Two storey 'T'-plan house to east, with at west addition of 2 storey
through passage house of 4 bays. Earlier house at east with brick dressings and
quoins, late C19 plate glass sashes and C20 windows. Steeply pitched roof. Through
passage house with to south off-centre 2 storey porch, with brick pilasters, moulded
brick string course and pediment expressed as flush brick triangle. Parapet to first
floor altered. Filled in arch to west. Four centred wooden arch 8 panelled door and
moulded stops. Ground floor and first floor 3 late C19 plate glass sashes. Eaves
level with extra heightening brick courses. West gable with kneelers, quoins and
external chimney breast with diamond pattern stack. Stack at east now built into
through passage house, originally external stack to earlier house. Interior roofs
with butt-purlins, collars and wind bracing. Moulded and stopped beams to ground and
first floors. Moulded and stopped doorcases in earlier house.
