G.V. II Lodges and entrance gates to Park. cl850. Gault brick with limestone and stucco dressings. Slate roofs. Square lodge pavilions on E and W of Avenue with pyramidal slate roofs with finials. Rusticated brick quoins and dentilled eaves. Window with keyed stone surrounds and iron tracery in geometrio patterns. Square bay windows with hipped roofs facing Avenue. Entrance doors on N side with stuccoed surrounds. Keystone and canopy on console brackets. Lower wings, partly C20, on E and W sides: casements with glazing bar. Chimney stack with moulded cap at junction between the two blocks. Central rusticated gault brick gate piers with carved and moulded stone capitals on console brackets. Wrought iron gates and cage-type gate piers with scrolled finials. Curved gault brick linking wall, pierced and with moulded stone coping, between gate piers and lodges. Rusticated gault brick boundary walls with pierced balustrading terminating in rusticated piers on E and W sides of lodges.
