5/80 Rose Cottages
II Pair of cottagoa. Late C18, probably by Samuel Wyatt. Originally built as four back-to-back dwellings. Gault brick, slate roofs, Central two-storey block of three bays; slightly advanced, side wings of 1 1/2 storeys. Central chimney stack on ridge line, gable chimneys in side wings. Two-light casement windows with glazing bars, rubbed brick arches over openings. Blank central openings in main block. Plain brick band at first floor level in central block. Entrance doors in side wings with blank openings above. Gabled dormer in right- hand wing: small casements in gables.
