Details
GRESHAM BARNINGHAM ROAD TG 13 NE 5/27 Manor Farmhouse 20:2:52 G.V. II House. Dated 1829 rep. WW on datestone, with earlier core. Brick, flint. Pantile roof. Irregular plan. Facade of 1829 of 2 storeys, 3 bays. C19 and C20 casements. Wall now at right angles between first and second bays. Glass lean-to over first bay which has a 2-light casement. Doorway between second and third bays with diamonds to corners; reeded fascia. 3-light casement to right of door, 2-light to right. Axial stack. External stack to right hand gable, built over earlier blocked windows with hood moulds in flint wall. Rear wall with C17 quoins. Blocked light with remains of hood mould. First floor blind brick arcade of 4 arches all under a hood mould. Rest of rear wall obscured by later lean-to.
