Garden building in grounds of Honing Hall (q.v). Early C19. Flemish
bond brick; conical Norfolk reed roof. Circular plan. Wide, full-height
entrance with central rustic column. Interior: walls and saucer-domed timber
roof clad in Norfolk reed; benches with view towards Honing Church. Built
before 1816, as part of Humphry Repton's plans to extend the park and
build a western drive. Included as a rare example of 'primitive' or 'rustic'
garden architecture.
