Large early C17 timber-frame house. Plastered. Black glazed pantile roof. Gabled cross wings at each end. North wing has large external brick chimney stack on north side with octagonal flues with moulded brick bases. Internal brick stack at junction with north wing with diagonally set shafts. Two storeys and attic (attic windows in gable ends). Mainly C18/19 three-light casements, some with leaded panes. C19 central brick porch, two storeys with stepped gable and doorcase with moulded architrave and fielded panel door. C19 brick canted bay on ground floor north wing.
