2. Probably Norman nave enlarged and largely rebuilt with Perpendicular windows north and south. Chancel circa 1300 with doorway and 2-light window on north side and 5-light east window with reticulated tracery. C15 north porch with arch-braced roof. North door with kind of reeding and narrow band of cusped panels around the edge. Tall west tower with brick battlements above original battlements, 2-light Y-tracery bell-openings, diagonal buttresses, and recessed spire, shingled. Interior: C15 arch braced nave roof and-C15 hammerbeam roof to chancel. Some box pews on north side. Fine C15 octagonal font with Seven Sacrements and Crucifixion. Good Victorian octagonal pulpit with traceried panels supported on cluster of 8 small columns. C16 and C17 foreign stained glass in east and 2 south windows. Monuments: some good C18 and C19 tablets on walls of nave and chancel. Churchyard contains C18 and C19 headstones and tombs.
