Details
HOLVERSTON TG 30 SW 6/25 Barn 85m north-east of Holverston Hall G.V. II 3 stead threshing barn. Late C17. Timber framed with wattle and daub infill and corrugated asbestos roof. South side with C20 door and glazing in central full height opening partly concealed by C20 sloping outshut roof on timber posts. Opposing north transept entrance. Gabled roof. Interior. Timber framing of thin scantling. Straight braces at intervals between the wall studs. Tie beams on arched braces. 2 tiers butt purlins and collars.
