DITCHINGHAM HOLLOW HILL TM 39 SW 6/35 Hollow Hill House II
House, early C19 with later additions. Gault brick facades, red brick to rear. Hipped slate roof. Two storeys, L-shaped plan. South-west facade of five bays: sashes with glazing bars under gauged brick arches. The two left-hand sashes extend to ground floor level, glazing bars removed; these two bays probably a mid-C19 addition. To the right, a symmetrical 3-bay composition with central 4-panel divided door. Semicircular portico on fluted Tuscan columns. Right-hand ground floor sash extends to floor level, glazing bars removed. Plain brick pilasters; wide eaves overhang. South-east facade of three bays, symmetrical, with two added at right-hand side. Segmental 2-storey bow, two windows wide, ground floor openings extend to floor level. Three chimney stacks on ridge line. Rear elevations of red brick with sashes and casements with segmental heads. Flat roofed 2-storey link in angle.
