Details
TG 22 SW BUXTON WITH LAMMAS BROOK STREET (east side) 6/9 Ashville and The Old Forge.

House, now two dwellings. Early C18. Colourwashed brick, partly rendered on east side. Black glazed roof. Four window range - widely spaced sash windows with glazing bars. Yorkshire sashes with segmental heads on ground floor. Two later doorways with canopies on console brackets. Shaped south gable with moulded brick eaves oversailing courses. Plat band at floor level. Dog-tooth brick eaves course. Gable chimney stacks and central stack on west side of ridge line; all chimney stacks rebuilt. Two plain brick pilasters at ground floor level. One storey hipped brick and flint extension at north gable. Later lean-to's on south and east sides.
