Parish church. C12 west tower with late C13 belfry. C14 nave, restored. Chancel of 1454-58 demolished and replaced C18. Whole church restored C19. Quaternary flint and chert with brick and Lincolnshire Limestone ashlar dressings and brick chancel. Slate roofs. Three stage tower, the lower two stages circular and pierced by one lancet to west. Octagonal belfry stage with two-light windows to alternate facets: trefoiled lights separated by shafts with capitals and bases and a cusped punched vesica. Blank facets have double arcading also with shafts and punched vesicas. C15 crenellated brick parapet. Diagonal stepped corner buttresses to nave and stepped side buttresses. Gabled brick early C17 south porch on diagonal buttresses. Entrance is four-centred and arch has three orders of cut bricks. Wall sundial over apex. Lancet side windows. Flint also used in side walls. Two two-light cusped and ogeed south nave windows with quatrefoil vesicas. Three similar north nave windows, but larger and of a date later in C14. Late C13 plain north nave doorway. Two bay brick C18 chancel with two two-light cusped intersecting windows to flanks. South side also has an arched priests' door. Similar three-light east window.
Interior. South porch roof of moulded principals, one tier butt purlins, ashlaring and decorated wall plate. Inner south doorway has wave mouldings. Tower lancet deeply splayed. Round tower doorway into nave. C19 scissor braced nave roof. Rood stairs survive to south. C19 chancel arch. Part of C16 screen comprising two bays right and left of opening. Thin tracery below top rail. C15 octagonal font with two tiers of trefoiled tracery to each stem panel. Bowl panels decorated with shields set in quatrefoils. C19 King post chancel roof.
