Details

SK 2670 PARISH OF CHATSWORTH CHATSWORTH PARK 6/84 Former Game Larder II Game larder, now disused. 1909, possibly by Romaine-Walker. Sandstone ashlar. Octagonal in plan. Moulded plinth, architrave and cornice. Blocking course. Moulded segmental pediment to south west. The whole of each face except one is taken up by a large stone cross-window, originally filled with wire mesh, now open. One side is left open as the entrance. The Gardens and Park are included on the Gardens Register at Grade I.
