3/61 Thwaite Hall 25.9.51 (formerly listed as The Hall) II

House. C17 and later. Rendered, timber framed. Pantile roof. L-shaped plan. Facade to south of 3 gabled bays, 2 storeys and attics. C2O casements in C20 openings with hood moulds. Central timber porch with a casement in each adjoining bay. 3 casements to first floor. Casement to each gable. West facade of 4 bays, 2 storeys with regular C20 fenestration with hood moulds; C20 casements. 2 stacks to rear wall, that to south with 3 octagonal shafts; that to north with 2 shafts. North gable of this range has double ovolo moulded bressumer beam with bar stops. Later lean-to to rear. Interior: west range has timber frame exposed; ovolo moulding to transverse beam. Roof of this range has 2 rows of butt-purlins with arched wind braces. Roof of south range probably C18.
