House. C16 and C17. Colour-washed brick and timber frame. Glazed black pantile roof. Possible hall and cross-passage plan with flanking cross-wings. Facade of 4 bays, 2 storys and attics. C19 casements. Left hand gabled bay is set forward; off-centre ground floor window in brick wall; jettied first floor with rendered timber frame having 4-light casement to first floor and 3 light casement to attic. Remaining 3 bays of brick; 2 3-light casements with C19 door between with overlight. 3 casements to first floor. Gable with bressumer beam to fourth bay; attic casement. Off-centre axial stack with 2 octagonal shafts; right hand gable end stack 2 octagonal shafts to stepped gable. C17 brick stair bay to rear with 6-light mullioned and transomed window to rear with ovolo moulding. C19 wing and C19 outshut also to rear. Interior: Hall to centre 2 bays with roll-moulded massive transverse beam. Left hand crosswing has roll moulded beam with bands of craved foliage decoration. Stair bay off hall; staircase with turned ballusters, newels with spheres to top. Butt-purlin roof with arch-braces to left hand bay. Rest of roof inaccessible.
