Cottage, now divided into 2. C16/C17 with C18 addition. Rendered timber- frame and colour-washed brick. Thatched roof. 3-cell plan with 4th cell added, perhaps in C18, outshuts to left and rear. Single storey facade with irregular fenestration. Left hand cottage (No.28) has C20 door with an C18 casement of 3 leaded lights to either side. C20 door and casement in brick wall to right hand cottage. Axial stack, gable end stack. 2 eye- brow dormers to rear with pointed head and leaded lights. Interior. Timber frame exposed in No.28, of heavy scantling with a 3-light diamond mullion in rear wall. Queen post roof.
