3/38 The Laurels(also known 25.9.51 as Laurel Farmhouse) II
House. Late C17/early C18. Rendered timber frame and colourwashed brick. Glazed black pantile roof. 3-cell plan with service range to rear, forming an L-shaped plan. Rendered facade of 5 irregular bays, 2 storeys. C19 and C20 casements. 2 casements to left of C20 gabled porch. One casement to its right. 5 casements to first floor. Central axial stack and 2 gable end stacks. Kneelers to shaped gables. Platband to gable walls. To rear, a lower 2 storey brick range, possibly contemporary, with random casement fenestration; dated 1732 on north gable.
