Details
TG 2308 NW BANK PLAIN (north-east side) 16/23 - No. 5. - II Office. 1899 by E. Boardman. Ashlar; roof not visible. 3 storeys 3 window range, symmetrical with bays defined by pilasters on the upper floors. Round headed arcade with part-fluted half-columns has part-fluted Corinthian pilasters at ends and flanking central door. Plain entablature with moulded cornice has consoles under central segmental balcony with balustrade. Tripartite first and second-floor windows to right and left have large-panedsashes in moulded architraves with pediments on first floor. Dentilled eaves cornice under parapet with balustrade. Similar 2-window range to left facing Queen Street.
