11/78 No. 55 (Buck Inn) 17/12/73 G.V. II

Public House. C17, altered C18, C19 and C20. Brick and flint with pantiled roofs. Disposition of 4 distinct ranges stepping down from north. North range : 2 storeys and dormer attic in 5 bays. Central door. 3-light sash window to right and canted bay to left, also with sash windows. 5 casements to first floor of various dates. Gabled roof with 2 large gabled dormers with C20 casements. North gable wall on kneelers with tumbling. Rebuilt south external stack obscured by C18 addition of 2 bays : one storey and dormer attic. Ground floor now of C20 door and window constructed as one unit. Gabled dormer in roof. Third extension of one storey, with C20 casement and gabled roof. Fourth extension of one storey and gabled roof with C20 bay window in south gable wall.
