Details
TG 2107 N MOUNT PLEASANT (north-east side) 26/534 5.6.72. No. 62 GV II House. Mid C19, probably incorporating earlier cottage at rear and with later alterations. Rendered plinth; roughcast; slate roof; red brick ridge chimney. Victorian Gothick style. 2 storeys; 2 first-floor windows. 2 storeys; 2 first-floor windows. Entered from the right side; panelled (part-glazed) door flanked by pilasters with panelled entablature and small hood on consoles. Iron-framed casement to left of door. Canted single- storey bay to right of main facade has large-paned sashes and a dentilled cornice. C20 bow-fronted bay under lean-to roof to left. First-floor windows have iron-framed casements and leaded lights in 3 lancets flanked by louvered shutters. Overhanging eaves. Mid C20 flat-roofed extension in similar style is set back to right.
