House. Late C16 or early C17, with C18 and C19 alterations. Red brick,laid to Flemish garden wall bond with off-centre and gable chimneys in brick,but originally timber-framed and later encased in brick except for the west bay where framing remains visible. Plain tiled roof Three-bay plan with former central lobby entry. South elevation;single storey and attic,with off-centre doorway replacing earlier door position to the west. Plain plank door below segmental arch to head. To the west, segmentally-headed sash window, three over three panes, below similar window to attic with gablet above. West end bay with exposed timber frame of six panels with angle brace to corner and plain doorway. C19 casement of two lights each of eight panes. Dentilled eaves band. East gable formerly with C19 shop window, now with C20 windows to attic openings.

Interior not inspected but known to contain items of interest including substantial remains of wall framing and roof carpentry including framed cross walls with original infill, and a single-purlin roof with collars and a diagonally-set ridge.
