House. Late C16 and C17, restored C20. Regular coursed and squared coursed and banded ironstone and limestone with thatch roof. Originally said to be open hall plan, now L-shape. Single storey with attic. Main front of 3-window range. 2 windows to right are 3-light plain casements under wood lintels with linked eyebrow dormer to first floor. Cross wing breaks forward to right and is probably a C17 addition with a 2-light stone mullion window to the first floor. Return wall has a 2-light window with moulded stone surround. C20 porch at intersection of wings has small single-light window with stone surround to right. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge, that to centre is old bricks. Elevation to left of main front has one 2-light stone mullion window. Rear elevation is similar with eyebrow dormers. Interior not inspected but said to have cross passage. Noted as having cruck roof construction. (Alcock, N.W., Cruck Construction, Research Report No.42, Council for British Archaeology, p.133)
