Public house. C18, refronted c1800. Stucco on probably rubble
with channelled rustications to ground floor; giant end
pilasters; moulded and carved hoods on consoles to 1st floor,
moulded architraves and carved keystones to 2nd floor. Steep
dry slate roof with 3 gabled roof dormers and mid/ late C19
crested clay ridge tiles; moulded and dentilled eaves cornice.
Deep tapered plan. 3 storeys; 4-window range. Late C19
four-pane horned sashes under flat basket arches. Ground floor
has central doorway with C20 glazed doors and shop front
towards left with small panes and shop front with plate glass
on right. INTERIOR of ground floor altered C20, otherwise not
inspected.
