House, now shops and dwelling. Early C19 front to C17 core. Stucco; steep pitched Welsh slate roof; two C19 brick stacks to rear. 3 storeys; 4-window range: plain sashes in moulded stucco architraves; stone sillband; 3/6 sashes over; stone coped parapet. Entrance centre left: early C20 part-glazed panelled door and overlight, flanked by C20 shop fronts; rusticated pilasters, with moulded hood on enriched consoles overall. Right returned side plastered. Gable of rear wing roughcast; two C19 casements; steep pitched slate roof. INTERIOR: altered late C17 dogleg staircase with moulded rail and turned balusters, to 2nd floor. Attic: plank door; C17 framing in gables. 2nd floor: C19 fireplace; probable timber-framing; C18 alcove; lightwell with stick baluster banisters; 2-, 3-, 4- and 6-panel doors; C18 fireplace. 1st floor: part-glazed panelled doors; C18 fireplace; 3-panel door; early C19 fireplace; late C17 decorated plaster ceiling. Ground floor: hall: 2 ceiling roses; damaged decorated plaster ceiling. Cellar: stone vaults. Rear wing: C19 winder staircase with stick balusters; 1st floor: 4-panel doors; 2-panel door; ground floor: partglazed 2-panel doors; corner fireplace. (RCHME).
