YARM HIGH STREET (west side) Nos 135 and 137 (Winpenny House)


Circa 1700. Stuccoed front, pantiled roof, truncated end chimneys. Three storeys, five bays articulated by giant pilasters stopping just above second floor windows. Above this, a diagonal brick eaves cornice in large bricks shows that roof was raised in C19. Second floor Yorkshire lights. Other windows, early C19 sashes with delicate glazing bars in exposed wood frames. Renewed central entrance has door well set back in open lobby. Original fenestration behind.
