GV II

Stable and shelter shed. Late C18/early C19. Coursed squared marlstone; corrugated-asbestos roof. Single range. 2-storey, 2-window stable section has a symmetrical front with a central door and flanking windows, all with segmental arches; first floor has 2 loft doors with wooden lintels. Roof has gable parapets. 6-bay shelter shed to left links to barn (q.v.). Interiors not inspected. Part of the Great Tew Estate. (V.C.H.: Oxfordshire, Vol. XI, p.169).
