SANDFORD ST.MARTIN B4031 SP43SW (South side) Grove Ash 3/118 Granary approx. 50m. to SW of 09/10/79 Lower Grove Ash Farmhouse (Formerly listed as Dovecote or Granary to Lower Grove Ash Farmhouse) GV II Granary. Early C19. Squared coursed marlstone with some ashlar dressings; Stonesfield-slate roof. Square plan. 2 storeys. Front has a stable door between 2 windows, all under segmental arches with projecting keyblocks, and at first floor has a 2-light stone-mullioned window. Blocked similar mullioned window at rear. Pyramid roof with acorn finial. Interior not inspected. Possibly a converted dovecote.
