Milestone. Late C18. Limestone with a cast-iron plate. Flat tapering stone with
a rounded head has a rectangular plate inscribed "Chipping/Norton/2/Banbury/10
3/4/Miles". The Chipping Norton/Banbury road was turnpiked in 1770.
