STONESFIELD LAUGHTON HILL SP3917 (North-west side) 15/120 1722 Clockcase

House. Dated 1722, enlarged in the late C18. Roughly squared and coursed limestone with coursed limestone rubble addition. Stone slate roof. Two storeys and attic. Integral brick end stacks rebuilt in C20. Two gabled dormers with 2-light wooden casements. Two-window front, 2-light leaded metal casements in wooden frames and flat stone arches. Central C20 glazed door with flat stone arch and C20 gabled stone porch with 4-panelled door. Segmental-headed panelled datestone above porch: "TM/AH/1722". Later addition to left, slightly breaking forward; gabled eaves dormer with 2-light small-paned wooden casement, first-floor 2-light small-paned wooden casement with wooden lintel and pair of C20 ground floor windows with continuous wooden lintel. Interior not inspected.
