FAWLER CHARLBURY ROAD SP31NE (West side) 6/23 Fawler Mill House
- II
Mill house. Late C17 and mid-C18. Coursed limestone rubble with some ashlar dressings; ironstone quoins to left. Stone slate roofs. One storey and attic to left and 2 storeys and attic to right. Left-hand block: integral stone end stack to left. Large gabled full dormer to right with 3-light small-paned wooden casement with wooden lintel. Ground-floor 4-light small-paned wooden casement to right, with wooden lintel. Right-hand block: integral stone end stack to right. Small gabled dormer off-centre to right with C20 two-light wooden casement. Two bays; first-floor C20 wooden casement to left with wooden lintel, first-floor wooden cross window to right and ground-floor boxed 16-pane glazing bar sash to right. Right-hand windows with stone cills and plain stone architraves with raised keystones. Mid-C20 half-glazed door to left; plain stone architrave with raised keystone. Interior not inspected.
