BURTON AND UPTON CHURCH LANE AND SIGNET SP2512 (Enlargement) Thomas Buckland 7/23 Memorial near S W corner of St John's Churchyard.
GV II
Chest-tomb. Thorns Buckland died 1850 but the tomb probably dated from the c.1790 date inscribed on the south side. Ashlar, moulded panels, plain corners, moulded cornice. Stepped capping with moulded ridge in bale tradition.
