- II
Farmhouse. Mid-C17 extended late C19 or early C20. Roughly coursed marlstone rubble to original part, limestone rubble to additions; stone slate roof with coped verges. Original house an L-plan with main range extended to right in late C19 or early C20 to form present T-plan. 2 storeys and attic. Two 3-light chamfered leaded mullion windows directly below eaves to original part and one to right. Ground floor has similar 3-light window and narrow rectangular window to left of porch and two 3-light mullion windows to right, one to original part and one to addition. Two C20 hip-roofed leaded dormers in middle of roof slope to C17 part. C19 gabled stone porch has coped verges and moulded cambered outer arch; half-glazed door in inner Tudor arch. Integral end stack with moulded capping to left and similar ridge stack (probably formerly an end stack) at junction with addition. C19 gabled range in angle to rear on left. Interior. Inspection not possible at tine of resurvey (August 1987) but likely to be of interest. [2469]
