Church Cottage
II
House. C17 in origin, raised and altered late C18-early C19. Coursed rubble
limestone, stone slate roof. Rebuilt rubble stone chimney shaft between right
bays, rendered chimney to right. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Old wooden casements with
horizontal glazing bars and slightly chamfered wooden lintels. Left bay and
upper storey have 2-light windows; 3-light windows to ground floor right. Traces
of former eyebrows are visible around upper windows. Interior not inspected at
time of resurvey 1986, but said to have old fireplaces and ceiling beams.
