4/1 Middle Heath Lodge.

Estate Lodge, circa 1850, probably by Sir Jeffry Wyatville in a Tudor Gothic style, with some late C20 alterations. Hammer dressed sandstone ashlar with plastic patching and dark plain tile roof. T-plan with porch to South forming irregular cross. Plinth, plain bargeboards with shaped finials, C20 gabled dormer off-centre to right on South front, and central ridge stack. I½ storeys. South front: 2 ground floor stone mullioned and transomed windows in chamfered reveals, that to right in projecting square bay with cornice. 6 panelled door off-centre to left with chamfered reveals; gabled porch with 4-centred chamfered archway; fake voussoirs, single lancets in sides, and carved lion above entrance. Gable ends with ground floor cross windows and mullioned 2 light attic windows. Wing to rear with raised eaves.
