SHERIFFHALES CP CHURCH LANE (West Side) Gorser Tomb, approximately 18 metres to the south of the chancel of Church of St. Mary

GV II Chest tomb. Late C18. Ashlar. Circular plan. Wide circular base, moulded plinth, fluted frieze and dentil cornice, and semispherical top. Four panels on side. Earliest legible inscription reads ¨ALSO RICHARD GORSER, son of R. and F. Gorser, who died Oct. 26. 179? Aged 53 years. Also MARY his wife who died May 9th 1827 Aged 75 Years".
